David Kaminsky is a photographer and artist born and raised in New York. He studied fine art at Columbia University, where he developed an interest in documentary photography. During his time there, he gained experience through internships in photojournalism, including at NBC News and Susan Meiselas’s studio. After graduating, David transitioned into fashion photography, working in various photo studios before shifting his focus to fine art and editorial photography. Currently, he is a student at the International Center of Photography. His approach, influenced by his upbringing as a painter, explores themes of psychologically charged narratives and constructed reality.
